Please consider the following information when reviewing the environmental conservation job profiles:
- There is an incredibly diverse range of job titles under the ‘umbrella’ of environmental conservation. These reflect the diversity of Lantra’s industry ‘footprint’ definition, staff structures within individual organisations and, frequently, the principal focus of funding streams or grants. We are aware of this but have chosen to condense activity down into a manageable number of representative job profiles
- When using Job Consulter please look beyond the generic job title to the actual content of the profile. It may simply be a case of changing the job title for some profiles – please let us know your views
- The range of job profiles have been developed to reflect current training and working roles and career progression opportunities
- Business skills and customer care are included to reflect the broad range of skills needed in many jobs in the industry
- Health and safety underpins all of the profiles with varying levels of responsibility
